The 2026 festival will run from October 15th-17th.

Online entries will be open from 17th April.

Entries open 17th April 2026. Please use the below Run My Festival link to register.

The closing date for entries will be 12 noon on 7th July 2026.

Please make a bank transfer when you make the entry and remember to quote your reference number given on the entry receipt.

Please send a DIGITAL copy of music for accompanists via info@hmf.org.uk and a legible hard copy (can be a photocopy) to the following address as soon as possible. It should arrive by the closing date for entries (12 noon, 7th July 2026).

Please make sure you enter the appropriate class re. age and genre.

2026 Syllabus

The Syllabus will be available from 17th April.

Please read the syllabus carefully as this year we have made some changes. There are new classes and we have separated some age groups.

Of special note will be our workshop class for young instrumentalists and junior and senior choirs. Also, an open piano class for adult learners and beginners.

Certificates of participation will be presented to all performers.
